Leafy Dreams

After five months of not working and having a wonderful time at home stamping (and cleaning and cooking!), I am returning to the workforce on Wednesday this week.  So I've got two more days to get some stamping in before working life takes over my week days once again :)

 I made a quick CAS card using the New Beginnings One Layer theme at Less is More and the colors at ShowCASe your Style to come up with this card:

I masked off a section of a white card base and sponged on Green Apple and Audrey Blue inks.  After removing the masks, I stamped the leaf in Archival Jet Black and the sentiment from Dandelion Dreams.  I can imagine giving this card to someone just starting out on a new path in life.

    Always love to see CBS stamps especially when I've got the set too to see how others use it.

    This really jumped out at me, Karren. Your colors are stunning and the black image fairly pops off of that card! Good luck jumping back into the work force this week; if only someone paid us to sit home and stamp!
