I've taken all the elements of the sketch and made a very CAS card:
It's hard to see in the photo, but I've scored double lines to represent the horizontal panel on the sketch. The die-cut sentiment is the rectangular panel and the die-cut splat is the half-circle. I started my card by sponging various distress inks onto a scrap of cardstock, before die-cutting it with the splat die. I also die-cut the sentiment in black cardstock, colored it with clear Wink of Stella, inked it up with Versamark and clear-embossed it several times. I stamped the "friend" in black ink onto the card base then adhered the die-cut pieces.
Thanks for visiting. My team-mates have some fabulous cards using this sketch, so be sure to check them out. I'm entering this card into Virginia's friendship card Link-Up Party as well as Card Concept, where I used the colors to make a Clean and Graphic card.
Products used:
Stamps: Fanciful Feathers (WP9)
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black, Twisted Citron, Worn Lipstick, Picket Raspberry, Peacock Feathers Distress Inks, Versamark
Cardstock: White, black
Dies: Scribbles & Splats (Tim Holtz), Simply Said Hello (Avery Elle)
Accessories: Scoreboard, Clear EP, Wink of Stella
Cheers
Karren
