Clink

Hi and welcome to the latest challenge from the team at Freshly Made Sketches.  This week our hostess is Cecile Ribon and here is her very interesting sketch.

Fun, right?  I originally was going to go with triangle die-cuts but I didn't have triangles with that same long shape (and I know there's a proper name for that shape but hey, it's been a few decades since I was at high school😄).  Anyway, Plan B called for a change and while I was flicking through my dies, I saw this martini glass die and figured that'd work!

Now I know it looks like I went veered completely away from the sketch, but to prove I did stick to it pretty well, I overlaid the sketch onto my card.

See?  😆
The card is pretty self-explanatory so I won't go into any detail other than to say I added shading to some of the elements with Copic markers.

Thanks for visiting!  The DT have created some gorgeous cards with this sketch so I hope you'll check them out.

Products used:

Stamps:  Uncorked (MFT)
Ink:  Amalgam (Gina K)
Cardstock:  Smooth White, Limelight, Grout Gray, Chili Powder, Jellybean Green (MFT), Desert Storm (Neenah)
Dies:  Martini Fancy Die (Hero Arts)
Accessories:  Copics, Sequins

Cheers
Karren

  1. LOve it!! I'd switch out the lime for those delish olives, and add a bit of the juice to make it extra dirty!! It's a bit early in the day, however...
What a fun take on your Sketch, Karren... cheers!
