Hi and welcome! Today's Freshly Made Sketch is courtesy of Jen Mitchell and I used it to create a card for my nephew and his partner who have just moved into a home together.
This card came together pretty quickly because that big floral element is washi tape die-cut with a co-ordinating die. I adhered the tape onto some white cardstock before die-cutting it. The black card base was foiled with a square foil die and gold foil.
The sentiment comes from two different companies and was stamped with two different colours.
Finally I added the floral panel and sentiment with foam tape.
Thanks for visiting. The DT have some gorgeous cards so I hope you'll check them out.
Products used:

Cheers
Karren
What a beautiful bouquet! LOVE how it pops on black and gold.
ReplyDeleteNot sure what I like better - your card or your nails!! Both are smashing! The black and gold are fabulous as a backdrop!
ReplyDeleteI think I chose the wrong washi! So pretty, Karren!

This is so gorgeous and I love that it's washi tape. I recently got a big, wide roll of washi from Altenew and I seriously contemplated using it in a similar way on my card this week. I wonder if wide washi is going to become the latest "thing!"
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous washi. The card is really pretty Karren.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful bouquet of flowers, Karren! I love how it pops against the black card base and your sentiment is so clever!
ReplyDeleteWow what a great way to use the Washi Tape. Your card is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWait, what?! That's Washi tape? I need to get out more! Those flowers are just gorgeous! I love them so much!!! The gold peeking out in the background is gorgeous! Your nephew will love it!
ReplyDeleteOh that's stunning! Black card bases make those flowers pop!
