I love this sketch, but apparently I can't follow it because I've just realised I forgot the extra panel under the bird. Doh!
If you follow my blog, you may remember a card I posted on the weekend that was inspired by both the Muse challenge and Time Out Challenge. This is the second card I made inspired by both cards. Of course, the Muse challenge has closed, but I'm going to enter this as my second entry to Time Out.
I started my card by stamping a striped background stamp down the left side of the card base with Fog ink. I went over it about 6 times to get good coverage (thank you Misti!). I then went looking for my pierced square frame dies, only to realise that I don't own them. So I made do with my pierced square stax dies and cut a frame. The flower bunch was stamped using Altenew inks - my favorite inks for multi-step stamping. I then used Press n Seal to hold the bouquet together before adhering to the card.
For the panel across the bottom, I white embossed the sentiment on some vellum and adhered it by putting dots of glue behind the embossing.
Thanks for visiting. Be sure to check out the design team's amazing cards!

This is a fabulous take on Kay's card! Very beautiful from the colors to the layout!
This is LOVELY~the vellum sentiment is a pretty touch & those flowers make me swoon!
What a gorgeous bouquet! I love the pretty purples against the gray. And I had to laugh about you reaching for a die you don't even own -- I do that sometimes too, forgetting that I've only placed something on my wish list and not an actual order.
Wonderful second entry! I love the angled stripes and your color palette, these stamps are so pretty too. Great job! Thanks for joining us at TIME OUT!
Wow, this is so beautifully designed. I love the raised main panel and the frame adds so much to the look of the card and to the flowers. The sprinkling of sequins was a perfect final touch.
Ha! How much time did you spend looking for dies that you don't own! Never fear, I have done the same thing. Plus I've looked for something that I'm positive I've owned only to realize that I sold it on eBay! Nice save, though, with the pierced square die! This is gorgeous and a wonderful take on Rita's sketch - even without the missing panel that I'm sure no one noticed was missing. I'm glad to hear you like the Altenew inks. I'm always in the market for more inks - because owning every ink known to man is a personal goal of mine!!
I wouldn't have even thought you'd missed a panel is you didn't say so! Your card is soooooo soft and pretty - I love those colours you've used and that bouquet of flowers is stunning!
Yep, this is amazing!! The colors, the frame, those flowers....every detail is perfect (and whatever about a missing panel....nothing is missing here!!).
This is such a beautiful card Karren! I love the neutral background colours and that frame! Those flowers are so sweet. The pop of colours if fabulous!
How gorgeous, Karren ... those soft greys are just lovely behind that sweet posy of beautiful blooms ... simply fabulous! Thanks so much for playing along with us again at Time Out! Anita :)
I don't think your card needs an extra panel under the bird...I think it's perfect as it is! Gorgeous color combo, and I love how you layered your blooms and leaves! Simply divine, Karren!!!
Beautiful CASE of Kay's card! Sweet flowers and I love the pop of purple! Thanks for playing at TO :o)
