Mouse Thanks

Hi and welcome to another fabulous sketch at Freshly Made Sketches!  Today, our hostess is the amazing Amy O'Neil and she has a wonderful sketch that I'm sure to use again and again.

I wanted to make a thank you card as a new blogging friend, Barb Ghigliotty, had very kindly sent me some die-cuts after I admired a card on her blog.  Hopefully, she will have received the card in the mail by now :)

I started with a white card base (shocker!) and then layered two smaller white panels together.  Onto the smaller panel, I adhered the stacked die-cut "thanks" word from Reverse Confetti cut in white and stacked two high to stand out more from the base.  One was die-cut in gold foil cardstock as well.  The little mouse comes from Harvest Mouse and I colored her with Copics and added a touch of Wink of Stella to the flowers.

Thanks for visiting.  The rest of the design team have some wonderful inspiration, so be sure to check them out.

Products used:

Stamps:  Harvest Mouse (MFT)
Ink:  Black Licorice Hyrid (MFT)
Cardstock:  White, gold, X-Press It
Dies:  Harvest Mouse (MFT), Fancy Words (Reverse Confetti)
Accessories:  Copics, Wink of Stella

Cheers
Karren

Wow this little mouse is so cut (and so wonderfully colored)! The background made of die cut sentiments is gorgeous. What a brilliant idea to make one in gold !

This card looks like it was a lot of work to put together, but the effort was well worth it. The gold sentiment and the colorful mouse are fantastic!

Love this card Karren, looks so pretty. Just out of interest how did you get the words to adhere without getting glue everywhere. I tried doing a card but all I could see were glue splots and leaks everywhere, ended up bining it. Love the mouse too, just the right amount of addition.

That mouse is simply adorable and so perfectly colored. I love the way you did the die-cuts (I love the look but doing it looks really time consuming), especially adding the gold one. Great card!
