I made this card some weeks ago and at the time I was having fun playing with alcohol inks. I decided to use vellum as it is non-porous and I thought the transparency with the alcohol inks would make for a fun look.
Once the ink was dry, I die-cut the panels with a pierced heart die and adhered them to a white card base using vellum tape for the purple hearts and clear foam tape for the blue/green heart. The sentiment was die-cut from both black and silver foil - I love this two-part die by Create A Smile.
This was a very simple card to make and alcohol inks are so addicting and fun! I've had mine for years and years and periodically pull them out to play with.
Head on over to see what the rest of the team have done with this challenge. I hope you have time to join us.

Oh, how pretty! Love those hearts Karren. The alcohol ink blending looks great on vellum. I need to try that!

Love this Karren - I was so keen to understand how you achieved such a wonderful glassy effect on your hearts - now I know! Very clever and so reminiscent of stained glass. Gorgeous colour combo too!
Love how the alcohol inks look on the vellum. This whole card is gorgeous!
