Hi, I'm the sketch hostess over at Freshly Made Sketches this week and here's the card I made - which I think I'll give to my daughter for her upcoming 20th birthday.
I had originally thought to use flowers for the circle elements but then decided to pull out this fun Birdie Brown stamp set and do some easy Copic-colouring. After I'd coloured the images, I set to work on the card base. Firstly I die-cut three circles in a white panel and lightly sketched the outlines through the openings onto a white card base.
I then ink-blended some Distress Oxide inks in Cracked Pistachio and Twisted Citron behind the openings. I stamped the sentiment onto the die-cut panel and adhered it to the card base with foam tape.
I added the chicks with foam tape and finished with an enamel heart to match the red-violet colour in the party hats.
Thanks so much for visiting. I hope you'll head over and check out the fab cards made by the design team.
Stamps: Birthday Chicks (MFT)
Ink: Amalgam (Gina K), Cracked Pistachio, Twisted Citron Distress Oxide
Cardstock: White, X-Press It
