Coral Flower

Welcome!  Today's card was made using the colors from 4 Crafty Chicks, the sketch at CAS(E) This Sketch and the gold theme at CAS-ual Fridays.

And here is my card:

I stamped the flower onto a panel of white with 3rd generation black ink and then colored it in using Copics.  Once the coloring was finished, I over-stamped with Versamark ink and gold-embossed.  (Thank goodness for the Misti!!)

I also gold embossed the sentiment onto a strip of Soft Navy cardstock and when I was looking for a banner die to die-cut it, I saw this die and thought it would give the card a modern look so went for it!

I die-cut the panel with a stitched-edge die and adhered it to a white card base.  The card was finished with some rainstones to mimic the sketch.

Gilded Thanks

I'm sneaking this card in just before Color Throwdown closes!  I made it on the weekend, but didn't get time to post it until now.  I'm also linking to CASual Fridays Precious Metals Challenge, CAS(E) This Sketch and Happy Little Stampers Gilding challenge.

For my card, I started by watercoloring a tag using various green distress inks.  I then gold embossed the beautiful flower from Mon Ami before coloring it with my Zig markers.  The thanks was die-cut from gold foil paper and it was all layered onto a white card base.

Celebrate Blue

Hi and welcome.  I finally got some time to stamp just for me on the weekend, but it took me a couple of days to find the time to blog!  Can't wait until things go back to normal and we're back in our house and I have all my schtuff around :)

I've got two cards to post today and this is my first.  I made this card using the beautiful blue colour challenge at Colour Me and the fun challenge at CAS-ual Fridays.

I white-embossed the word "celebrate" from the Shenanigans set onto watercolour paper then liberally spritzed the paper with water.  I dropped a single drop of ink in each of the challenge colours onto my craft mat and spritzed with water.  I then picked up one colour at a time with my paintbrush and painted the watercolour paper.  I started with Coastal Cabana at the top, then Tempting Turquoise, then Pacific Point and finally Bermuda Bay at the bottom.

After heat-setting, I trimmed to size and mounted onto a white card base.  Three blue sequins finished off the card.
