Stocking Elf

Hi and welcome to another Merry Monday challenge.  This week, the lovely Bonnie is challenging us to use green, red and white in our cards.

For my card, I used the Merriest Wishes stamp set again, so apologies if this looks similar to the tag I posted a couple of weeks ago :)

When I was thinking about how to showcase my little elf, I remembered seeing Loll's gorgeous tag with the stenciled brickwork.  So I was heavily inspired by Loll for this card.  I stenciled some embossing paste over a brickworks stencil and then sprinkled on some Dazzling Diamonds to make it all glittery.  The elf was colored with Copics and cut out before being popped up on foam tape.  The word "merry" was die cut from PTI's Wet Paint Holiday dies and painted with Wink of Stella for some added shimmer.  You can see the sparkly bricks a bit better in this photo:

Thanks for visiting.  Please join us and upload your card to our gallery.

Products used:

Stamps:  Merriest Wishes (WPlus9), Wet Paint Holiday (PTI)
Ink:  Memento Tuxedo Black
Cardstock:  White, Green Apple (SSS)
Accessories:  Copics, Bricks Stencil, Wink of Stella, Wet Paint Holiday dies, embossing paste, dazzling diamonds

Cheers
Karren
