Once again, I proved to myself how the inspiration photo guides my design choices. I went with flowers for my card this week :)
As I said in my last post that used this set, it is my absolute favorite non-Birdie Brown MFT set. I just love these poppies. I die-cut and stamped the poppies before coloring them with Copics in peachy tones with grey centres. On the card base, I adhered a strip of black and white striped paper and then cut a smaller panel which I sponged with some Lake Shores ink. I stamped the sentiment in Moon Rock (grey) ink and then mounted the panel onto the card base using foam tape. Finally, I arranged the poppies and colored the centres with Wink of Stella.
Thanks for visiting. Be sure to check out the fabulous creations by the Color Throwdown design team - they will amaze you as always!
I haven't decided yet whether I'll enter this into the 2016 Superstar challenge at MFT. I need to see if I can come up with anything better before the deadline.

lovely card Karren - just found your card while roaming around somewhere - love your cards (especially since you do a lot of florals!)
Poppies are some of my fave flowers and you've colored these so beautifully! Your sponging is perfection and that black and white stiped border just adds such a pop of interest! You rocked the colors!
Karren I think it's beautiful can't wait to see if you come up with something better than this one the flowers just look like they are popping of of the card. I love it.
Your Poppies are so pretty, Karren! I love your blended blue background, and the horizontal stripes are the perfect touch...Fabulous take on the color combo!
