I die-cut and assembled the coffee maker and the cup and set it aside. For the background, I embossed a dark brown square panel and onto that I adhered some patterned paper with coffee splats on it and then a stenciled newspaper panel.
The sentiment comes from a sticker set by Tim Holtz that has some fantastically snarky sentiments. I don't know when I would use most of these but, boy they make me smile - I love me some snark!

This is so fabulous! I love the colors and dies and everything! And sitting down with you for a cup would be delightful!
Terrific card! I don’t drink coffee but a Diet Coke works for me when I need to ignore reality!
Love your caffeinated take on the sketch! The coffee maker looks so realistic with its shine, and I love that snarky sentiment!
I totally love this card. The coffee theme is terrific and the sentiment made me laugh out loud! I sure feel like that some days!
