Delicate Florals

I'm a 99% Stampin' Up! girl, but occasionally I am lured by the beautiful images from other companies.  This image is one of those that caught my eye.

This card is my submission for the 2nd challenge at Colour Me Beautiful.  I thought I could say that I'd used all the colors, but then I realised that I'd used Whisper White instead of Very Vanilla.  Doh!  Oh well, 4 out of 5 ain't bad.

I masked off a piece of Whisper White then sponged Calypso Coral and More Mustard at the top and Always Artichoke at the bottom.  I then colored the stamp using Basic Black and Raspberry Ripple markers.  I finished off with a sentiment from PTI.  I considered all sorts of embellishments, but in the end decided to keep it CAS and simply layered it onto a Whisper White card base using dimensionals.

Thanks for looking.

Products used (all Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted):

Stamps:  Delicate Florals (Penny Black); Signature Greetings (PTI)
Cardstock:  Whisper White
Ink:  Calypso Coral; More Mustard; Always Artichoke; Basic Black
Accessories:  Basic Black and Raspberry Ripple markers

Cheers
Karren

Beautiful sponging technique and the CAS approach really lets it shine. I love that your image doesn't cover it up either. Thanks so much for joining us at Color Me Beautiful!
