Go On and Celebrate!

Hi and welcome to another Freshly Made Sketch challenge!  Today, the very clever card artist Cindy Hall is our hostess.  Check out her sketch.

Isn't this fabulous?  It gives us lots of freedom!

I decided to make a rainbow birthday card.  I used the inspiration from Just Add Ink which is why this is posting a couple of hours earlier than usual - because the linky closes just before Freshly Made Sketches goes live.

For my background, I used translucent embossing paste and a numbers stencil to give a lovely shiny background.  The sentiment is black embossed on white then cut with a square stitched mat. The horizontal panel was made from different colors taped together across the back, then punched with the chevron punch.  The strip at the bottom is an offcut which I thought added to the overall look.

Thanks for visiting.  Check out the rest of the design team samples and leave a special welcome for Kim Singdahlsen, who has agreed to become a permanent member of our little group!

Cheers
Karren
