Hi and welcome to Merry Monday! This week, Deanne has challenged us to use a gift on our cards.
My first attempt at this challenge was not very successful - I didn't have a great time in my craft room this past weekend :( So I thunk and I thunk and I remembered that late last year, I made cards for all my fellow Merry Makers and I never posted them on my blog. So off to the archives I went and I found this card:
Each of the cards I made for my fellow team members had the same basic layout but different papers and images. This one had a gift! What you can't see in the photo is that where each panel of paper joins the others, I ran the cross stitch embossing folder over the joins. I think this is my favorite ever Christmas paper.
Thanks for visiting. Head on over to the blog to check out the creations from the rest of the design team.
Products used:
Stamps: Christmas Greetings (PTI), Color Me Christmas (SU)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Cardstock: Whisper White, Ski Slope DSP
Accessories: Baja Breeze Seam Binding Ribbon, PTI tag die, cross stitch embossing folder (SU), copic markers
Cheers
Karren

Love this, Karren! Great use of the beautiful DSP and the stitching detail is perfect. Have a great week.
I still have some of that DSP left too, although precious little. I love it because it's got Baja Breeze in it, which is also why I tend to hoard it! And your little present is so sweet with that big red bow!
Super cute, I love that DSP too and the cute tag with present is perfect!!
This is lovely - I'm digging that red and blue together for Christmas - way to raid the archives, Karren! :)
I loved this paper and still have a few little snippets of it left. The little present is perfect with the paper and I love the idea of embossing the stitched at the seams! Hope you have a wonderful, restful week!
Love that smokey blue and red together!
Deanne :)
OMG, Karren, love the crisp, clean design and darling little package! Hope you enjoy your week!
Love the colors & design--fabulous card!
Fantastic card Karren, I love this layout and you used such a great blend of papers and colours.
