Edgy Hello

Hi.  Our sketch hostess over at Freshly Made Sketches is Cecile Ribon and she has a great sketch for us.

When I am looking for shapes, I always head to my Blueprints and thanks to Blueprints 25, I came up with this card.

I used the curved dies to cut from a panel of white, sort of following the sketch.  I then die-cut the panel with a stitched die and used foam tape to adhere it to a sheet of patterned paper, which was then added to a white card base.

The hello was stacked 4 high and I finished the card with some Nuvo Jewel Drops to match the patterned paper.

Thanks for visiting.  I hope you'll check out the wonderful cards made by the rest of the DT.

Products used:

Cardstock:  White, Black, Perfectly Plaid (Lawn Fawn)
Dies:  Little Hello, Blueprints 25, Stitched Rectangle Stax (MFT)
Accessories:  Nuvo Jewel Drops (Orange Marmalade, Strawberry Coulis)

Cheers
Karren

Oh, I love how you played with the curved die to create a peek-a-boo for that beautiful plaid pattern! Another really stunning card, Karren!

This is really something! For starters, that die cut shape- so unique. But the use of the plaid behind it and all the way to the card edge- bold and brilliant! Awesome card, Karren!
