Get Well Flowers

Hi and welcome!  For the first time in two weeks, I finally had some time to sit down and make a card purely for the fun of it and to meet a few challenges.  I used the sketch from MFT, the colors from Color Throwdown, the "For a Special Lady/Girl" challenge at Simon Says Stamp and the March Anything Goes With Dies challenge at HLS.

As you can see, I flipped the sketch onto its side and used a top-folding Soft Stone card base. I added a rounded panel that I'd smooshed green distress ink onto and to add a bit of extra interest, I also flicked some Black Soot ink onto the panel as well.  The flowers and leaves were cut from Cornflower and Sour Apple cardstock, with the center flower cut from Cornflower sparkle cardstock.

The sentiment was die-cut from white cardstock and adhered onto the fishtail flag.  I finished the card with some Nuvo drops in white and green.

Thanks for visiting!

Cheers
Karren
